MC Square Group, the holding company of MC Square S.A. – a third-party UCITS management company and AIFM based in Luxembourg (www.mcsquare.lu ), announces the completion of the acquisition of GemCap (www.geminicapital.ie), a leading Irish UCITS management company and fund platform. The firms have joined forces to establish a strategic cross-border partnership.
With a strong presence in Luxembourg and Ireland — Europe’s two leading fund domiciles — and affiliates in the UK and US, this new cross-border organisation will bring together the best of both firms with an ability to expand management company, distribution, and operational services for asset managers and investors across the EU.
